A few years back I heard on the news about madcow and how bad it would effect the food chain. I was totally fascinated by the actual disease. Its actually a protien that cannot be cooked or frozen out of the food. Nearly indestructible Prion that marches up your spine and then into the brain to replicate and eat your brain cells. Its really had to get it in there hence it has to make it through the digestive system and then into the blood. But if it does your a gonner! I have a lot of information about this subject and know that the best solution is not to feed animals other animals especially from their own species. This is a know problem around the world that canibalism causes problems and can resulty to death. Check out Kuru from New Guniea, Scrapie or CJD in Deer and other animals.
